Fourth of July festivities to return to Redwood City after two years

Fourth of July festivities are returning to Redwood City after a two-year hiatus, with a day full of free events starting with a pancake at 8 a.m. and ending with fireworks at the Port of Redwood City, the city has announced.

Here’s the schedule of planned activities for Monday, July 4:

  • 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast with Redwood City Fire Department at Fire Station 9 (755 Marshall Street)
  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Chalk Full of Fun on Courthouse Square (Also Sunday, July 3)
  • 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Downtown Festival Activities
  • 10:00 a.m. – Fourth of July Parade
  • 7:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. – Pre-Fireworks Concert at the Port of Redwood City with The Fog City Swampers
  • 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks Celebration at the Port of Redwood City
