The FoodieLand Night Market featuring over 160 vendors is coming to the San Mateo County Event Center this weekend, July 1-3.
The outdoor event, inspired by the Night Markets of Asia, will offer up a variety of foods, games and entertainment for the whole family. Event hours are 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to enter must be purchased online here. It costs $7 to enter on each day, although there is an early bird special of $5 for those entering between 3-5 p.m. Friday.
Can’t make it this weekend? You’ll have another chance to visit the FoodieLand Night Market when it returns Sept. 23-25.
The event is expected to draw thousands of people locally and around the Bay, according to city officials. Due to construction work, traffic around the Event Center may be congested, so attendees are encouraged to walk or take public transit, Uber or Lyft (rideshare can be accomodated at the Hillsdale Train Station). Free parking is provided at Franklin Templeton at 900 Yates Way, which is available all day on Saturday and Sunday but only after 6 p.m. on Friday, or at the Event Center parking lot at 1346 Saratoga Drive. Onsite parking at the Event Center is $15 per vehicle.
