It’s out with the old and in with the new at the Redwood Shores Branch Library, which is undergoing equipment repairs that will see it replace its dated library returns system in January 2023. Due to the upgrade, some changes will be afoot.
As the new system gets installed, the library’s old system will be removed starting Mon., Dec. 19. While the library’s returns system is offline, items can be returned in the outdoor bookdrop or inside at the Customer Assistance desk.
As of Dec. 12, Redwood Shores Branch Library-owned items now check out for 20 weeks, so community members can take their time returning items.
“We anticipate our new library returns system to be up and running in early 2023,” said library personnel, who added, “Thank you for your patience while we improve our library.”
