Redwood City’s annual Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 15, will have volunteers targeting areas around the community during the morning before enjoying a free BBQ lunch.
The City of Redwood City Pride and Beautification Committee is hosting the event starting at 8:30 a.m. at 1400 Broadweay (at Woodside Road).
The day begins at Public Works for breakfast and supplies. Volunteers will be directed to areas around the community to clean up, including Redwood Avenue (from El Camino Real to Hudson), Little River Park, Bayfront Canal & Douglas Ct, Marshall (between Broadway & Chestnut), Redwood Creek, Hoover School and 2nd Avenue. Volunteers will return at noon for a BBQ lunch.
Volunteers can register on site the day of the event at the Public Works gate at 1400 Broadway. There will also be free Compost Giveaway in the parking lot while supplies last.
