Two loud explosions at Sequoia High School over the last two nights, both believed to be caused by fireworks, are under investigation by the Redwood City Police Department.
“The school was not damaged in any way, but we’re still trying to identify those responsible for these actions,” city officials said.
On the Facebook group, Redwood City Residents Say: “What?”, a resident shared a NEST cam video that captured the flash of light, loud explosion and subsequent sounding of car alarms and barking dogs. Another resident’s NEST cam caught it from a different angle.
Anyone with information that can assist with the investigation into these incidents are encouraged to contact Detective Kimber at 650-780-7138.
