A 66-year-old man was arrested in Redwood City on allegations that he threatened family members while brandishing a firearm, police said.
Police responded to a home in the 500 block of Shorebird Circle about 8:46 p.m. Friday, March 12, on a report of a domestic violence. They contacted and later arrested Nestor Lopez on suspicion of making criminal threats, brandishing a firearm and assault with a firearm on a person. Officers recovered a .380 caliber handgun.
