In honor of the 150th anniversary of Redwood City, the city has been holding a photo contest throughout the year that is coming to an end on Sunday, Dec. 17.
Participants are asked to enter 10 photos per month through Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, with the hashtag #ThroughMyLens. Photos could include Redwood City events, local businesses, restaurants, and food, community members, public art, parks and other places and unique architecture or scenery.
Winners will earn a prize, be recognized at a City Council meeting and have their photo displayed at City Hall for 150 days. Photos will also be published on the City of Redwood City’s official social media pages and in printed materials.
